Argon Font
About Argon Font
Argon Font was designed by Tom Anders Watkins exclusively for Type Threshold. Inspired by early 20th-century sans serif typefaces, Watkins has succeeded in creating a unique blend of old and new that is perfect for any project. With its squarish shapes and slightly condensed proportions, Argon has a strong Canadian identity reminiscent of our nation’s flag. But don’t let that limit you, this versatile font can be used for nearly anything!
Uppercase, Lowercase & Symbols Font
One of the things that make Argon Font so special is its large x-height. This gives the font excellent legibility even at small sizes. And because of its condensed proportions, it packs a lot of punch without taking up a lot of space. Watkins has also included a few alternate characters and ligatures to give you even more options for personalization.
Argon Font comes in both regular and italic weights, each with 597 glyphs. It also includes support for over 30 languages including Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Vietnamese, and some African languages. So no matter where you are in the world or what language you speak, Argon has got you covered!
